During works on the Corinth-Patras road, a
well-preserved Roman tomb of 3.30x2.63 meters was discovered, complete with
vaults and wall paintings. The most striking element however is the stone bed
or rather the coffin that was painted in such a way that it looked like a bed!

A similar tomb has been discovered last year in
the same area as part of an ancient cemetery where vessels for burial offerings
were found similar to those found at the Kerameikos
in Athens ,
the only other example so far.
